We are Laoru Laoru, a ceramic sculpture studio based in Aarhus, Denmark. We started this because we genuinely believe that sculptural art belongs in real homes, not just galleries.

Our sculptural objects are inspired by the ancient Greek sculptural tradition and shaped by the quiet, restrained sensibility of Scandinavia. Together, those two forces shape our sculptural universe that feels both timeless and entirely of today.

Each original piece is sculpted in our studio, and every cast that follows moves through our hands from raw clay to finished glaze. Every piece is shaped through a process where clay, glaze, and fire each leave their mark, and the small, natural variations are the quiet evidence of that process.
